Dinner Tonight: Baked Chicken Nugget Spaghetti

This is a very quick and easy but yummy dish that satisfies both the little ones and the adults. :)  It comes from a Pillsbury cooking mag called Casseroles that came out in 2005.

100_6596 Not the most appetizing pic, but the fam tackled this one pretty quickly lol.  I served this with a bunch of cut up fruit (strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple, grapes) and it made a nice weeknight dinner.

Baked Chicken Nugget Spaghetti

8 oz uncooked spaghetti, broken in half
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 box frozen breaded chicken nuggets
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 400 and coat a 13x9 baking dish with cooking spray.  Cook spaghetti, drain, return to pan and add spaghetti sauce.  Pour spaghetti mixture into greased dish.  Layer frozen nuggets on top.  Bake for 8 minutes.  Turn nuggets over, sprinkle with cheese and bake an additional 8 minutes.  Yum!
